About Us

Women in Nuclear – India, abbreviated as WiN – India, is an initiative started back in 2012 to give the much-deserved recognition to our women fraternity in the Indian nuclear sector. Inspired by WiN Global, an international organization supporting and motivating women working in nuclear industries throughout the world, WiN – India is the Indian chapter of WiN Global.

WiN – India is an organization of women associated with the Indian nuclear sector including the Department of Atomic Energy, associated private industries, medical industries, educational and research institutions. The main objectives of this association will be to acknowledge and promote the contribution of women in Indian nuclear program. The association also works towards encouraging the young females to choose nuclear as their career of preference.
